Boy, 15, accused of slashing 4 students inside Staten Island high school: NYPD

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 15-year-old boy is in custody after four students were slashed inside a Staten Island high school on Monday, according to the NYPD.

It happened at Port Richmond High School around 9:47 a.m. A fight broke out in the school, according to authorities.

An 18-year-old boy was slashed in the face, a 17-year-old boy had a laceration to his mouth, another 17-year-old boy was slashed in the right hand and a 16-year-old boy was injured in his right hand, police said.

Two of the teens were treated at the scene, while two others were taken to Richmond University Medical Center, according to authorities.

It's unclear what led to the fight and slashing.
