BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 12-year-old accidentally shot himself in the foot in the Bronx Tuesday evening, sources told PIX11 News.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. near West 230th Street and Heath Avenue, police said. The boy was rushed to an area hospital in stable condition.
In June, another 12-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the hand in the Bronx, police said. He ran home and his mother called 911, police said.
Earlier the same month, a 12-year-old was accused of fatally shooting his 14-year-old cousin while the two were playing with a sawed-off shotgun in Brownsville, authorities said.
