A sports content creator from Pakistan is facing flak on social media for his bizarre comment, where he claimed that India is preparing its new pace sensation
Mayank Yadav
for the
India vs Pakistan
match in the coming
T20 World Cup
by showing him the videos of Pakistan pacer
Haris Rauf
.
"Mayank Yadav will be part of India's T20 World Cup squad. I assure you.
You can take a screenshot of my post. India are getting him ready and he will play against Pakistan. He is already being shown videos of Haris Rauf's spell against India in the last T20 World Cup," Farid Khan, whose bio on 'X' says 'worked with PCB', could be heard saying on a video he has posted.
Interestingly, Rauf was famously given a pasting by Virat Kohli in the India vs Pakistan match in the last edition of the T20 World Cup.
"Mayank is watching Naseem Shah's visuals, Shaheen Afridi's bowling; he is being shown Mohammad Amir's Champions Trophy spell," Khan further claimed. "Former Pakistan bowling coach Morne Morkel is at Lucknow Super Giants, he is getting Mayank ready."
Khan's bizarre claims brought out the troll army on social media, which has been taking him to the cleaners.
The T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by the USA and West Indies from June 2 to 29. India play Pakistan in the most high-profile game of the tournament on June 9 in New York.

Mayank has become the toast of the ongoing IPL, where his bowling spells at tearaway speeds consistently in excess of 150 kmph have earned him worldwide praise and six wickets for just 41 runs in two matches. He clocked 156.7 kmph during Lucknow's match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which is fastest delivery of
