found himself in an embarrassing situation after suffering a fall while watching the pub band 'Six and Out' featuring former Australia players in Adelaide on Friday last week.
Cricket Australia reached out to

Maxwell

to check for injuries following the incident.
Maxwell's manager,

Ben Tippett

, stated that the cricketer is a bit embarrassed but is now training in Melbourne. He clarified that Maxwell was a bit sore but is not under investigation by Cricket Australia.
"Glenn is a little embarrassed by the whole thing. He was a bit sore and sorry on Saturday, but he's back in Melbourne and resumed training yesterday. He's not under investigation by Cricket Australia," Tippett mentioned.

, learned about the incident on Monday during discussions to finalize the squad for the T20I series against the West Indies.
Maxwell, currently not part of the Test squad against the West Indies and omitted from the ODI series to manage workload amid Big Bash League (BBL) commitments, is expected to return for the T20Is starting from February 9.

Cricket Australia clarified that the fall incident is unrelated to Maxwell's replacement in the ODI squad, emphasizing the decision was based on workload management.
