Bigg Boss 17: Samarth Jurel takes a dig at Munawar Faruqui’s ‘tunnel tak chhod kar aaunga’ line; says it’s like a cricket enthusiast taking credit for India’s win

11 months ago 17

When

Munawar Faruqui

told Anurag Dobhal, ‘Main tumhe

tunnel tak chhod kar aaunga

(I will escort you to the tunnel)’, many assumed it to be a casual remark amid an argument. Anurag was evicted soon after. He used the same line with

Samarth Jurel

during an altercation, and a week later reminded

Abhishek Kumar

about the statement moments after Samarth’s eviction.

With two instances already, Munawar seemingly taking on the role of a fortune-teller, repeated the statement with Vicky Jain after a disagreement.
As the

Bigg Boss 17

audience eagerly awaits to see if Munawar will score a hat-trick, we ask Samarth about his claims of escorting people out of the house through the tunnel. He says, “What’s his role in my eviction? It’s like that situation in an India-Australia match where a friend predicts India will win, and if we do win, everyone lifts him saying, ‘Arre tune jitaaya hai…tune jitaaya hai’. This doesn’t make sense.”

A few hours after Samarth’s eviction, Munawar and Abhishek Kumar were seen placing bets on the future of

Isha Malviya

and Samarth’s relationship. Abhishek claimed that the relationship wouldn’t last beyond two months, while Munawar gave it four months. Speaking about them passing judgment on someone else’s relationship, Samarth says, “They will speak based on their experiences and how they have treated women. Your life experiences shape your thoughts. I am not criticising any statement; they must have felt that after observing us.”

During one such discussion, Abhishek informed Munawar that Isha had faked tears upon seeing her father during the family week. Samarth says, “Acting ki baat kya hi kare, jo Abhishek ne Tehelka (Sunny Aryaa) ke time kee thi. First, he demanded action against Tehelka for grabbing his collar, but later, he was seen shedding copious tears during Tehelka’s eviction. Woh acting bohot gandi dikh rahi thi sab ko.

Arun Mashettey

, who was closest to Tehelka, was surprised by Abhishek’s reaction. He must be wondering, kya Tehelka uska kam aur Abhishek ka zyada lagta tha (laughs!)?”

Samarth Jurel on Abhishek Kumar's 'slapping Isha Malviya, being thrown out of Udaariyaan' incidents

Despite joining the reality show as the wildcard, Samarth carved a niche for himself with his entertainment and mimicry. While he earned praise from everyone, the tables turned after Abhishek slapped him. He was accused of provoking Abhishek, who was hailed as a hero. Reflecting on the incident, Samarth says, “I may have been in the wrong, but I don’t regret it. I needed to say those things because Abhishek’s actions warranted it.”
