BHOPAL: There were scattered showers in
Bhopal
on Sunday.
Fog
was also witnessed in the city during morning as well as evening hours. A similar weather would prevail for the next three days.
Officials of the meteorological department, Bhopal circle said, there was a trough line over south Uttar Pradesh to north Gujarat. A fresh western disturbance would get active over the state from Monday.
Possibility of fog and rain existed for many places in the state, including Bhopal, the officials added.
The day temperature in Bhopal on Sunday was recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius, seven degrees less than normal mark, while night temperature in the city was 14.1 degrees Celsius, four degrees more than normal mark. Wind direction in the city was north easterly and average wind speed was eight kilometers per hour. The
visibility
in Bhopal during the morning hours dipped to 600 meters.
Lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius in Shivpuri.
In the forecast for Bhopal on Monday the meteorological officials said, there would be cloudy sky with possibility of fog and rain. Day and night temperature will be respectively 19 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius while average wind speed will be ten kilometers per hour.
In the forecast for the state meteorological officials issued a warning of moderate to
dense
fog for places including Sagar, Gwalior and Chambal divisions and for Sehore, Bhopal, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Rewa, Mauganj and Mandla districts.
A possibility of rain, thunder and thunderclap was underlined for Narmadapuram and Indore divisions and for Sehore, Bhopal, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Agar Malwa, Mandsaur and Umaria districts.
