NEW YORK (PIX11) - Snow days make the best sledding days in New York City and multiple parks throughout the five boroughs offer slopes for a sleigh ride. 

The NYC Parks Department has a list of places where sledding is allowed but warns New Yorkers not to go off course. Sledding on places like golf courses is illegal in the city.
