NEW DELHI: Extremely hurt and disappointed just like a million of other

on Monday suggested the sale of the franchise to more 'caring' owners.
RCB on Monday suffered their fifth straight defeat and sixth in 7 matches.
In a run-fest at the Chinnaswamy, RCB bowlers, at their home, allowed Sunrisers Hyderabad to post 287 for three -- the highest-ever total in the history of the league.
With the weakest bowling attack among all the 10 franchises, and their spearhead Mohammed Siraj sitting out of the game against SRH, RCB's bowling was thoroughly exposed and it all came circling back to the owners, who didn't pick the team wisely during the December auction last year.
After yet another flop show from the bowlers, a disappointed Bhupathi labelled the outing as 'tragic' and urged
BCCI
for the sale of the franchise.
"For the sake of the Sport , the IPL, the fans and even the players I think BCCI needs to enforce the
Sale of RCB
to a New owner who will care to build a sports franchise the way most of the other teams have done so. #tragic," Bhupathi wrote on X.
Despite having tournament's highest run-scorer in Virat Kohli in the side, RCB have failed miserably this season and are on the verge of an early exit from the Play-offs race.
RCB skipper Faf du Plessis also earlier admitted that his side lacks the sting in the bowling department.
After Monday's defeat, Du Plessis admitted that the pressure is way too much and mind could explode at any time.
"It's tough (to bowl on a day like this), we tried a few things and they weren't quite working," Du Plessis said after defeat against SRH.
"There's no way to hide when your confidence is low. The fast bowlers found it quite difficult out there. Similar to the batting perspective, we need to work on a few areas.
"It's important to go away and freshen your mind, it's such a mental game. Sometimes you feel your mind is going to explode. When you get back to the contest you have to give full commitment," the RCB skipper said.
