NEW YORK (PIX11) – Baseball legend Roberto Clemente's legacy extends far beyond his play on the field.
The civil rights advocate and humanitarian will now be commemorated on a coin after Congress unanimously passed the Roberto Clemente Commemorative Coin Act.
He's the first Latino, Afro-Latino and Puerto Rican to be featured on a commemorative coin. His son, Roberto Clemente Jr., talks about it on PIX11 Morning News.
