Take-off of 20 flights, mainly to northern parts of India, were delayed Tuesday. Sources at KIA said even though the skies were clear in the city, adverse weather conditions elsewhere caused flight delays. Till afternoon, 20 flight departures, including to destinations such as Varanasi, Kolkata, Prayagraj, and Lucknow, were disrupted.

While there was no diversion of flights reported on Tuesday, many flights scheduled to come to Bengaluru were cancelled at the last minute, disrupting passenger plans. Meanwhile, delayed flights took off hours later. On Sunday, over 53 flights had been delayed and eight cancelled at KIA, affecting hundreds of flyers.
A similar situation ensued on Monday, with the city airport witnessing over 20 delayed departures and the arrival of six flights scheduled to touch down in Chennai.
