The Latest on Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill and More

Backstage rumors in the WWE more often than not cater to some of the more interesting storylines that are currently ongoing in the company. While these are just backstage rumors for the most part, sometimes they do come true in the future.
With WWE RAW finally moving forward to Netflix, and SmackDown having three-hour episodes, there’s a lot that has happened in the company over the past few weeks, and the rumors that are coming out from backstage provide some interesting information about what fans can expect in the forthcoming days.

So, here’s a quick roundup of all the backstage rumors in the company that have been doing the rounds in the company.

Major backstage rumors coming out of WWE

1) Tiffany Stratton scheduled for WrestleMania 41

Tiffany Stratton is likely to face Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41, probably for the WWE Women’s Championship. Stratton just won the title off Nia Jax after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract, so it’s evident that the Creative team at the Stamford-based promotion is really impressed with the effort that she has put in with the company so far.

If she’s indeed slated for a WrestleMania appearance against Charlotte Flair, it’s really a big thing for the young athlete because she’s definitely moving up the ranks in the company, and putting her against Flair is a massive boost for Stratton at this point in her career.

2) Jade Cargill to return soon

Jade Cargill was taken out of action ahead of her match at Survivor Series: War Games after a deadly attack. The attacker is still unknown and with Jade Cargill returning, there are a lot of different avenues that the WWE Creative team can explore.

With her out of action, WWE has moved the Tag titles from the two of them without having her and Bianca Belair look weak. Now, the most interesting angle that WWE can run right now is a feud between Belair and Cargill, where the former was the one behind the attack on her teammate, but it’s unclear if they’ll do that. Alternatively, they could also pin the blame on Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodrigues and take it from there. Either way there are a lot of interesting options so it’ll be worth seeing out things pan out after Cargill makes her return.

3) Tyler Bate slated for WWE RAW return

Tyler Bate is set to make a return to WWE RAW sometime soon, but his date of return hasn’t been revealed yet. He was last seen in the company on July 2, where he teamed up with Pete Dunn to go up against Hank and Tank.

He’s been absent from programming since then. So, now that he’s almost cleared to return WWE Creative would want to use him in something substantial, considering how talented a wrestler he is. The direction he’s going to take isn’t clear yet, but it’s for certain that he won’t be a dull attraction, once he’s back with the company.

4) Hall of Fame ceremony shakeup

The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is a yearly celebration where the Stamford-based promotion immortalises wrestlers who’ve made extensive contributions to the world of wrestling. From Paul Heyman, to The Undertaker, to Ric Flair, every single individual has been a part of the WWE’s Hall of Fame, thanks to their contributions not only to the company but the world of professional wrestling itself.
However, WWE was somewhat disappointed with the ceremony last year, especially with people leaving the venue following Paul Heyman’s speech. Keeping that in mind they’re planning on issuing some changes to the event, starting this year. The changes aren’t currently revealed yet, but there are a lot of ways the company could pivot, with respect to the showing or with the format of the event as a whole.
