Ayesha Khan: Munawar broke my trust, lied to me about his girlfriend | Exclusive

The latest promo of Bigg Boss 17 has left Munawar Faruqui fans in shock. Actor Ayesha Khan is entering the show to confront the comedian for having 'pretended' to be in love with her. While Munawar has been talking about still dating Nazila Sitaishi, Ayesha told IndiaToday.in that he lied to her about his past.

Ever since the promo was released, fans have been questioning the need for Ayesha Khan to join the show. They feel that she wants to gain fame from the situation and push her career by defaming Munawar Faruqui. In a chat with IndiaToday.in, the actor defended herself by saying that if she wanted fame, she would have entered the show on a good note.

Ayesha told us, "I would have mentioned how we are in love. I am not stupid that I would go against his massive fanbase, which has already given me so much hate. I am just going to bring out the truth."

Ayesha also mentioned that Munawar approached her using his public image, thus, this matter is no longer personal. She said that he told her how he was single and that led to them coming closer: "He asked me out. While we were not committed, things were happening between us. Now he is lying on national television about his dating life. I need to confront him."

Ayesha Khan mentioned that while she is not in love with Munawar Faruqui, she was emotionally invested in him. She added, "He has broken my trust. He kept me hooked while he was involved with other women."

Former Bigg Boss contestants Aly Goni and Abhishek Malhan called out the channel for bringing up someone's past this way, on social media.

'FANS WANT TO SEE MUNAWAR'S REAL SIDE'

Speaking further about Munawar, Ayesha said, "When a show like Bigg Boss brings you on board, they want fans to see your real side. And here he is acting like a saint, pretending to be a nice man. Why will anyone pay you to put up a fake personality? So, it is their right to take measures to bring out the reality."

She also spoke about confronting Munawar Faruqui's alleged former girlfriend Nazila Sitashi. Ayesha Khan said that she had texted her to talk about Munawar and got to know how he was playing them both: "There are bad men and then there are people who have a good public image but are disgusting in real life. I have seen all the proof and realised how that girl was wronged too. Unlike what Munawar told me about her, she is such a nice human being."

On a final note, Ayesha Khan mentioned how she may be entering Bigg Boss to confront Munawar Faruqui, but her real aim is to win the show. She mentioned that she has no issues living in the same room as him: "I am not going to defame him but to win the trophy. I also want to entertain the audience."
