. The handset is set to make its global debut soon and ahead of that the company has already started making the hype by dropping several details like official teaser, the blind camera test and even the design update to an extent.

Asus ROG Phone 8: Details that have officially confirmed
Asus has recently dropped the official teaser video of the ROG Phone 8. The teaser, apart from other details, mentions “Coming Soon” and the tagline “Beyond Gaming”.
The company has already dropped several posts on X mentioning the reveal date as January 8, 2024 PST (January 9, 2024, 4:30am).
Another thing that the company has already confirmed is the chipset details of the phone. According to a recent post, the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chipset –

Moreover, Asus has been highlighting the new camera setup that the ROG Phone 8 will feature. The company has mentioned about the better camera quality from the phone.
Design details have also been revealed by the company, at least for the camera part. According to the images available on the official website, the ROG Phone 8 is set to finally make the departure from the older back design, as a whole. The phone will now feature a sort of rectangular camera housing with a triple camera setup and pretty muted rear back panel. The backlit ROG logo is still there though.
Asus ROG Phone 8: Details based on leaks and rumours
ROG Phone 8, according to a report by Notebookcheck, will come in two models with model numbers – AI2401_A and AI2401_D. Now, this may be for the vanilla and the Pro versions of the phone or the Ultimate version of the phone.
Also, the handset is expected to pack a massive 24GB RAM. Moreover, the handset is still expected to offer a wide range of gaming features that we have been seeing from the previous generation models.
