This week on
90 Day Fiancé
,
Ashley
and Manuel's happily ever after occurred on the other side of a massive storm.
A
tropical storm
disrupted the couple's Florida wedding plans just as they were about to walk down the aisle. Ashley heard some worrisome news about her guests' safety the day before the wedding.
A voicemail from Armando, their wedding planner, put everything in perspective. "Looking at the climate, it looks like we're gonna have tropical storms," he went on to say. "You have to understand when you're on the beach, you're possibly putting your people in a really serious situation."
That was enough to set off Ashley's downward spiral. "Hearing the word'storm' is making me hyperventilate," she told cameras. "I am not a Floridian, okay? I didn't consider hurricane season while choosing my wedding date.
"This is my dream wedding, and I can't even think of bad weather running it," she went on to say. "What would happen if it rained? Or worse, if there is a hurricane? "I'm going to die."
Ashley spent the rest of the day discussing the likelihood of a foggy (or worse) wedding with her sister. Ashley, using her witchcraft, recognized the potential for terrible weather as a foregone conclusion.
"I intentionally wanted to marry Manuel as close to the full moon in Pisces as I could, and we've got this full moon hitting right on day 89," she went on to say. "All of this is happening in
divine timing
."
That being said, Ashley had no backup plan in case the weather ruined their chance to marry oceanside. "I chose the date, but the rest I thought was being handled by my wedding planner, so I don't have a plan B," she stated, before adding, "Postponing isn't an option."
There are two reasons for this. First, Ashley and Manuel planned a destination wedding and do not want to waste anyone's flight. They are also getting married just one day before Manuel's K-1 visa expires.
"After those 90 days, if you don't get married, they get the boot," she told me.
As the episode finished, Ashley was not going to compromise her plans for anyone, not even an approaching hurricane. "I've been longing to marry him for so long. It is happening. We're getting married at the beach. That is the vision. That is exactly what is happening. That is what we are doing. At 5:30 p.m. "There is no other option," she informed her sister.
If that’s not how things go, Ashley said, “My world will implode on itself.”
