Ankita Lokhande’s furry friend, a Labrador, gifted to her by Sushant Singh Rajput, died on February 5. The actor, who is still basking in all the glory after her ‘Bigg Boss 17’ stint, shared a post on Instagram and mourned the death of her pet, Scotch.
Fans would remember that the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput had gifted the dog to Ankita when they were still dating.

Ankita Lokhande’s pet dog Scoth died on February 5. The actor shared a picture of the furry friend on Instagram and wrote, “Hey buddy, mamma will miss you so much. Rest in peace, scotch.” Other than fans, her friends from the industry, including Mouni Roy and Amruta Khanvilkar among others also mourned the death.

Following the death, an old video of Sushant Singh Rajput playing with little Scotch had gone viral on social media. The throwback clip showed Sushant playing with the dog and laughing as it responded to him. The duo can be seen running around in the house.

Days after the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ finale, Ankita Lokhande announced her next project. She shared a post on January 30 and announced her association with a beautiful film based on the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. “Bringing light to the lost leader from the chapters of history! Starting a new chapter, right after BB17 feels extra special… Grateful to be a part of this project alongside @RandeepHooda, produced by @anandpandit63 @ZeeStudios_ Don’t miss out on the date, 22nd March 2024 in your nearby theatres (sic),” she wrote.
Randeep Hooda's forthcoming directorial debut, ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,’ is slated to release in cinemas on March 22.
