NEW YORK (PIX11) – Want to be showered in dog kisses on Thursday? Well you can, at Animal Haven’s Valentine’s Hearts Drive in New York City.

Join the nonprofit and other animal lovers by participating in their annual drive that spreads love to animals looking for a home. Volunteers cover the shelter with hearts that have been donated by supporters, according to the shelter.

In addition to putting a heart on the kennel of an animal in need of a home, attendees can also grab a cocktail or get a smooch at their puppy kissing booth. Vendors and a photo booth will also be at the event.

If you can't make the Valentine's Hearts Drive, you can still show your love by donating a heart on their website

Animal Haven is located at 200 Centre St. in Manhattan.
