The video captures the group having a joyful time during the festive season. Angad, while sharing the video, commended Katrina's performance in "Merry Christmas". He captioned it, 'Its almost end of jan.. but its still a very "Merry Christmas" in the theatres.. well done kat may you shoulder many more such films and also..may the light always be upon you!!! Even with the positive reception the feature film has garnered, the director has hinted at plans for a sequel. In a conversation with India Today, the filmmaker explained, "I initially envisioned this as a small movie and intended to keep it that way. I contemplate what could unfold in a sequel – would it be compelling? Is it worth presenting, or is it more fitting to preserve the essence of it being a Christmas special? The emotions it evokes are crucial, and that essence should endure."

In the same interview, Sriram discussed the work ethic of his actors, Katrina and Vijay. Regarding the star of Tiger 3, he praised Katrina as an extremely diligent actor. He mentioned, “She is meticulous and will chew your brain talking about the hows and whys of the scene.” Raghavan contrasted this by stating that Vijay, on the other hand, has a different approach.
