Anees Bazmee, who is quite excited about beginning the shooting of his next film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ recently underwent surgery. As per reports by Pinkvilla, the director was on a 15-day recce for the film at different locations, injured his leg on the last day of recce and was rushed to a hospital.
Anees Bazmee, who has been entertaining fans for the last 35 years, is all set to enthrall fans with his next ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.’ The director, who has collaborated with Kartik Aaryan again for the third installment, is taking rest after undergoing surgery.
Bazmee had fractured his right leg on the last day of the film’s recce. He had three cracks and was suggested bed rest for 6 months with a plastered leg. However, the director, who is committed to beginning the film’s shooting on March 10, decided to undergo surgery. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “The filmmaker decided to take basic treatment from the local hospital at the spot of recce and returned to Mumbai. He consulted top doctors, who gave him the option of a steel plate followed by a 3-month rest or surgery. Anees instantly decided to undergo surgery as he is committed to shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 from March 10.”
The surgery took place in Mumbai on February 11 under the consultation of medical experts. As for someone like Bazmee who is passionate about his work, he resumed his office on February 13 and began his meetings. “With a script in hand, a walking frame next to him, and a fractured leg, the spirits are high and Bazmee is ready to shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik and Vidya Balan in March,” the source added.
Meanwhile, the film will release this year on Diwali. It was in January that the film's production house, T-Series, posted a picture of Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee, and Kartik Aaryan. The female lead in the film is yet to be announced. As per reports, Sara Ali Khan might be seen alongside Kartik in the film. However, the team was in discussion with several actors.
