Ancient Krishnama Naidu tank renovated by TMC ready for inauguration

TIRUPATI: The ancient

Krishnama Naidu

tank at Chennareddy colony in

Tirupati

which was recently renovated by the

Tirupati municipal corporation

is all set for inauguration soon.
This ancient waterbody which remained a case of complete neglect for several decades was revived by the Tirupati civic body recently.
Tirupati deputy mayor

Bhumana Abhinay Reddy

who personally monitored the refurbishment works inspected the Krishna Naidu tank with officials on Friday.

Abhinay Reddy told reporters that a good walkway was created around the ancient waterbody and the newly laid steps leading into the water tank looked simply perfect. Additional lighting set up around the temple tank will also be in place shortly.

Meanwhile, Abhinay Reddy along with

TMC

officials inspected the ongoing works at the Achyuta Devaraya road in the city, which is being established with the general funds of the civic body.
This new master plan road is a connectivity road which links Alipiri, municipal high school grounds, Singalagunta, Giripuram, Chennareddy colony with the old maternity hospital road.
TMC plans to get the Achyuta Devaraya road inaugurated very soon.
