But little did the crowd know that the former RCB skipper was about to endure his rare failure of the IPL 2024 as MI's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah had him caught behind for just 3 off 9 balls.
However, when you look at the statistics of face-offs between Bumrah and Virat before this match, it is the batter who has the upper hand. Virat has faced 92 balls from Bumrah, scoring 140 runs on them at an average of 35.00 and a strike rate of 152.17.
