STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) -- An alleged serial groper was arrested Thursday evening on Staten Island, according to the NYPD.
Police said the most recent incident involving a 10-year-old girl happened at around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday in the vicinity of Charleston Avenue and Winnant Avenue.
Officers responded to a 911 call for harassment and were told that an unidentified male approached the victim and engaged her in conversation before hugging her from behind, according to the NYPD.
He was taken into custody and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment charges.
The suspect has a history of forcible touching incidents involving young women, according to sources.
