Alanganallur jallikattu
won’t be held in the new arena in nearby Keelakarai village though it is almost ready.
Madurai
district collector M S Sangeetha on Thursday announced that the famous
Avaniyapuram
,
Palamedu
and Alanganallur
jallikattu
events would be held in the traditional venues. In a statement, the collector said the Avaniyapuram jallikattu would be conducted in the venue on the Thiruparankundram Road on January 15.
Palamedu jallikattu will be held in the Manjamalai venue on January 16. Alanganallur jallikattu will be held in the Kottai Muni Vasal Mandhai jallikattu venue on January 17.
