Bridgetown

in

Barbados

to New Delhi.
According to reports, the aircraft flew from New Jersey to Bridgetown, from where the team will board the flight. It has also been learnt that the Indian media, which was in the Caribbean to cover the

T20 World Cup

, will also be on the same flight as a special arranagement by the BCCI to also get the stranded mediapersons back home.

Barbados was under the effect of Hurricane 'Beryl', which caused the flights to be cancelled and the Grantley Adams International Airport to be shut for some duration.
India defeated South Africa by seven runs to win the T20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on June 29.
The flight with call sign AIC24WC is anticipated to touch down in Barbados at approximately 2 am local time.

Following the revised itinerary, the team is set to depart from Barbados at 4:30 am local time. The flight duration from Barbados to Delhi is estimated to be 16 hours, barring any additional delays. If all goes according to plan, the team is expected to arrive in Delhi on Thursday at 6 am Indian Standard Time (IST).
The Indian team's original schedule had them departing Barbados around 6 pm local time on July 2, with an anticipated arrival time of 7:45 pm (IST) on Wednesday. But weather disrupted those plans.
