In the photos, the to-be bride and groom are seen posing for the pictures together and even feeding food to each other. While Ira looked stunning in a simple-yet-elegant maroon saree and a matching bindi, Nupur opted for a traditional kurta, jacket and turban look. He wrote, 'One more day of being your fiancée @khan.ira. I love you so much'.

The family has been rehearsing songs on the dhol for a casual sangeet ceremony, with Aamir Khan himself learning to sing. The wedding is scheduled to take place in Udaipur, featuring a sangeet and mehendi, but it won't follow the traditional Maharashtrian-style wedding.

In a conversation with Etimes,

Nikhat Khan

Hegde, Aamir Khan’s sister, shared some insights into the pre-wedding celebrations, including a mehendi function held at the groom's house. Reflecting a blend of cultures, everyone dressed in traditional Maharashtrian sarees for the occasion. Nikhat Khan Hegde revealed, "Today we took Mehendi to Nupur's house. We did the mehendi ceremony. We all decided to wear navari with a big nath. We dressed up fully Maharashtrian."

"We have been practicing and preparing songs on dhol, which we plan to sing tomorrow. It will be a more casual sangeet, we will be playing dhol and singing all wedding songs. Aamir is learning to sing as well. However, for the wedding songs, it is only the ladies who will be performing. Our family from Banaras, Lucknow and Delhi have come. Reena's side family has come down from Delhi and Punjab," she said.
Detailing the wedding plans, Nikhat shared that the couple will have a registered marriage tomorrow, with celebrations continuing in Udaipur. However, contrary to expectations, there will be no traditional Maharashtrian-style wedding. Nikhat clarified, "Udaipur's plan is all for Ira and Nupur's friends, and we will be going along. There we will have sangeet and mehendi, but not the Maharashtrian style wedding; it is only a registered marriage."
