. Noor was an air hostess earlier, with Qatar Airways before she turned to acting.
This is alleged to be a suicide as Noor's body was found from her flat in a decomposed state.
The cops went to her flat after the neighbours complained of a foul smell. So, the cops arrived and broke open the door to have found her dead. More details on this case are now awaited from the police.
According to ANI, the actress died by suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of the house. The police then broke the door open, and found which was taken for postmortem at the Siddharth hospital in Goregaon. The police reportedly collected medicines, her mobile phone and diary during the search of the house.
The police had to perform the last rites on Sunday as nobody from the family came forward, despite efforts to contact the family. According to Mid-day, the police performed the last rites with the help of Mamdani Health and Education Trust NGO, which handles the cremation of unclaimed bodies in the city.
The Indian Cine Workers Association has urged Chief Minister
Eknath Shinde
and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis for further probe on this matter.
Noor's last post on Instagram was five days ago. The actress had dropped glimpses from her photoshoot and she was praising herself as she wrote, "There is only one face and that is @noormalabika1 matching with no one else nd I no need to see the mirror my beauty is according to your reflection. My mirror is the world sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes better, sometimes silly, sometimes playful, sometimes naughty, sometimes jolly, sometimes kind, sometimes cool, sometimes fire, sometimes childish, sometimes matured.. according to the swing🤘"
Some of the projects in which Noor was seen earlier, include 'Siskiyaan', 'Backroad Hustle', 'Dekhi Andekhi' among others.
