in May 2023 following a six-year-long stint on the family drama,

Abhishek Kapur

has been on an extensive travel spree. His most recent destination was

Sri Lanka

. He says, “It was lovely to start the new year with a work trip and this marked my first visit to Sri Lanka. I shot for a few brands, explored the city, and engaged in water sports. Although it was a brief stay, it was enjoyable. I made new friends and cherished my time there.”
Before this, the actor spent some quality time with his family back home in Delhi. They even went on a trip together. He shares, “While shooting for Kundali Bhagya, I had limited time with my parents, usually just a maximum of a three-day trip back home. However, after my exit from the show, I spent two months in Delhi and went on a family trip to Shimla and Jodhpur. Creating memories with family and spending time with them is truly important.”

Underscoring the importance of work-life balance,

Abhishek

believes taking a break, regardless of its duration, is essential for replenishing energy. He says, “I am passionate about my work and enjoy work-related travels. It allows me to shoot and explore new places simultaneously. These experiences not only provide relaxation but also an opportunity to expand your horizon, meet new people, and indulge in various cuisines.”

Although he enjoys travelling, flying solo is still on his bucket list. He shares, “That’s something I’ll do soon. I feel it makes you more independent and helps you understand yourself better.”

That’s about life away from work. So, when does he plan to return to shooting? “Let’s see what’s next in store. I can’t wait to get back on the set and start something new, but I haven’t found the right project. I would love to be a part of films, web series, or a nice show in the lead role,” he replies.
