CHANDIGARH:

AAP

national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced Saturday that his party would independently declare

candidates

for all 13 LS seats in Punjab and one in Chandigarh in a fortnight, effectively burying speculation of an alliance with fellow INDIA bloc constituent Congress for parliamentary elections.
"Two years ago, you blessed us with a big mandate in assembly elections, with 92 of 117 seats in Punjab.

I come here with folded hands to seek another blessing. You have to make AAP win all 14 seats," Kejriwal said at an event in Ludhiana's Khanna. Kejriwal also launched a broadside against rival parties, highlighting lack of noteworthy initiatives during Congress and Akali Dal govts. He commended CM Bhagwant Mann's efforts, particularly in providing free electricity and addressing corruption issues.
Kejriwal: AAP doesn't indulge in corruption
There are no power cuts in state... From where did funds come? It is an honest govt. It doesn't indulge in corruption, Arvind Kejriwal said.

Recent indications from AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak suggested his party's inclination to contest LS elections solo, aligning with sentiments of state units. Punjab leaders of both AAP and Congress have been keen on contesting LS elections separately.
