Aamir Khan and his family will throw a grand party to celebrate his mother Zeenat Hussain's 90th birthday on Thursday, June 13. The extravagant event will see over 200 family members and friends from across cities.
As reported by Indian Express, Aamir will fly in more than 200 family members and friends. A source close to the development said, "She (Zeenat) has been unwell for over a year. Now that she has recovered and is doing well, everyone wanted to have a large get-together. Family and friends from all over India will gather to celebrate this special day. People are coming from Banaras, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mysore, and other cities."
The grand bash will be held at Aamir's residence in Mumbai.
In 2022, Zeenat, reportedly, suffered a massive heart attack whilst she was at her Panchgini house. Ever since then, the 'Fanaa' actor has been by her side. In 2023, Aamir temporarily shifted base to Chennai to take care of his mother's treatment.
Meanwhile, work-wise, Aamir Khan was last seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha', which didn't connect with the audience upon its release.
Presently, he has a packed schedule as he is busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', a 'spiritual sequel' to 'Taare Zameen Par'.
A source stated, "Aamir Khan is busy with back-to-back shoots for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. After completing the shoot in Delhi, he is now shooting in Vadodara. The superstar is rigorously shooting in the scorching heat to stay on schedule."
'Sitaare Zameen Par' will be helmed by RS Prasanna. The feature will be centred around Down Syndrome. Apart from Aamir, the film also stars the likes of Genelia D'souza and Darsheel Safary.
