Ahead of that match on Wednesday, DC posted a playful video on social media, where veteran opener

David Warner

is seen speaking a little Hindi while being lured with offers like watching a movie, free meal, etc.
To each of those offers, Warner replies "nahi yaar (no)", until funnily agreeing to get his

Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identity number that only Indian residents can apply for. The context in which Warner was jokingly offered that oppotunity is perhaps because of his long association with the Indian Premier League since 2009 when he joined Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).
In 2014 Warner moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad and won the title as the team's captain in 2016. He moved back to the Delhi franchise in 2022 after his relationship with the Sunrisers soured.
