Director Sunil Dev
is making his directorial debut with
Athomugam
, a suspense thriller starring newcomer
SP Siddarth
and
Malayalam actress Chaitanya Pratap
, who will be making her Kollywood debut with this film.
The film revolves around the dramatic turn of events that ensue when the protagonist installs a spy app on his wife’s mobile phone, states the director.
“Initially, the protagonist instals the spy app to surprise his wife on their second anniversary, but then, the film goes in to a completely different dimension,” he elaborates and adds, “It’s like the film Blow-Up, where the same photo tells a different story as we see it through different perspectives.”
The bilingual film has been shot simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam, informs Sunil.
