LOWER MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) - Attorneys and advocates for the 9/11 community say no one is currently getting enrolled in the WTC Health Program due to job cuts made earlier this year by the Trump Administration.

John Feal, of the FealGood Foundation, told PIX11 News, "The lead doctor at the FDNY had to turn away three firefighters with cancer."

"He just keeps getting worse, and they just keep dumping on the 9/11 community, responders, and survivors," said Feal.

Even though the Trump Administration promised to restore some of the cuts made by the Department of Government Efficiency, Feal said it hasn't happened.

Feal said, "This just keeps getting worse, and they just keep dumping on the 9/11 community, responders, and survivors. People will die, we've been saying this for months, people are going to die because of reckless, horrible, lack of humanity politics."

PIX11 News reached out to the federal Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the WTC Health Program, but did not get a response.
