India vs England Live Score Updates: Centuries from skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill helped India entrench their control of the final Test against England with a 255-run lead on Friday. The hosts finished day two on 473-8 with Kuldeep Yadav (27) and Jasprit Bumrah (19) batting at the picturesque Dharamsala stadium, in the lap of the snowcapped Himalayas. India saw a middle-order stutter after tea with spinners Shoaib Bashir (4-170) and Tom Hartley getting quick wickets but Yadav and Bumrah put on a stubborn partnership of 45. England had their moments when skipper Ben Stokes struck on his first ball since his knee surgery last year and fellow quick James Anderson moving to 699 career Test wickets. But India kept up their dominance after Rohit (103) and Gill (110) hammered home the advantage following India's overnight start at 135-1.
IND vs ENG Live Score - No overnight declaration!
Mohammed Siraj can be seen getting some throwdowns ahead of the start. So, looks like an overnight declaration is not on the cards.
Nothing has changed as far as the pitch is concerned. Don't see any demons, it is a flat surface. Coming forward as much as possible is the key, because at times it might stay a little low.
Sanjay Manjrekar and Nick Knight in Pitch Report
Bashir adapted as the day went on and when you look at young players you look out for how well they can do that. Throughout this series, Bashir seems as though he's adapted as he's gone on. Before lunch he was bowling at 56mph, which is quick and flat for a spinner, and after lunch he bowled at 53mph. He got more variability off the surface, the odd one turned, and you had more play and misses. Clearly at lunch something was discussed and he got his rewards later in the day.

Ind vs Eng Live Scorecard: Stokes' 'magic ball' to dismiss Rohit
England's highlight for the day came when Stokes dispatched his Indian counterpart Rohit with a delivery that seamed off the pitch to rattle the batsman's off stump in the second over after lunch. It ended a charging 171-run second-wicket stand with fellow centurion Gill. Stokes' stunning bowling return after eight months and a knee surgery last November lifted England's spirits with the right-arm seamer on target right away.
Ind vs Eng Live Score: Three wickets fell in the space of nine balls with left-arm spinner Hartley getting two in one over to expose the tail, which kept wagging.
India vs England Live Score: Fifties for Sarfaraz & debutant Padikkal
Sarfaraz Khan made 56 and debutant Devdutt Padikkal hit 65 but Bashir got the two out with his off-spin as India lost regular wickets. Sarfaraz, who reached his fifty in 55 balls, was caught at slip on the first delivery after tea.
Ind vs Eng Live Scorecard: Two tons for captain Rohit Sharma
India captain Rohit Sharma was at his majestic best during the fifth and final Test against England in Dharamsala. Rohit not only notched up his 12th Test century against the Three Lions but also thwarted the England bowling attack, helping India extend their dominance in the five-match series where they already held a unassailable 3-1 lead. Rohit guided Tom Hartley towards deep mid wicket for a single to reach the three-digit mark. This also saw the 36-year-old match the remarkable feat of Rahul Dravid, who also has 48 international centuries to his name.
