NEW YORK (PIX11) – A local New York City group is initiating a $5,000 reward for a man accused of raping a 5-year-old girl on Staten Island, according to a post on their Facebook page.
The Port Richmond North Shore Alliance is offering a reward for any information leading to an arrest.
Dominique Giles, 30, allegedly raped the victim at a location on Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Avenue on Jan. 22, police said.
The police said the victim fled on foot after the incident. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital to be evaluated. Other details were not immediately clear.
Police described the suspect as about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and braided hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket. The NYPD released a photo of him Wednesday night.
