$50K winning Powerball ticket sold in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- One lucky person can afford a fantastic summer vacation after winning a third-tier Powerball prize valued at $50,000 on Monday, the New York Lottery announced Tuesday.

The ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball number. The winning ticket was sold at a BP gas station in the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn.

More Local News

The winning numbers were 19, 29, 35, 36, and 45, and the Powerball was 16.

There were no first-prize Jackpot-winning tickets, according to the New York Lottery.

The next Powerball drawing is on Saturday. Winners have one year to claim their prize.
