UPPER WEST SIDE, N.Y. (PIX11) – A five-foot-long python slithered into the kitchen sink of an Upper West Side apartment Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.
A neighbor saw the snake crawl from outside into the basement apartment on West 87th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues around 8 a.m. Wednesday, police sources told PIX11 News.
The python was then found in the kitchen sink and removed, police said.
It was not immediately clear where the python came from, police said.
