BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police apprehended a man accused of stabbing four people to death, including two children, inside a Brooklyn home, authorities report.
One of the tenants of a Bensonhurst home arrived to find one of his family members with blood on his hands Friday night, police sources said. Responding officers arrived around 10:18 p.m. near Avenue P and West 8th Street, according to the NYPD.
Police discovered a 58-year-old woman who was stabbed multiple times in the neck, authorities said. Two children, a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old, and a 24-year-old woman were also found with several stab wounds, police said.
First responders arrived at the home and pronounced all of the victims dead, police said.
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man in connection to the incident, sources said. Investigators believe that the stabbing was due to a domestic dispute, police sources said.
