3 robbers stole cash, jewelry from a taxi driver in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Three armed suspects swiped hundreds in cash after robbing a taxi driver parked on a Bronx street last month, police said Tuesday.

The thieves threatened the driver, 25, with a gun after hopping into the cab near 3051 Olinville Ave. at around 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 3, according to the NYPD. The suspects stole around $370 in cash, a cellphone, jewelry and a tablet, police said.

The victim was not injured.

The suspects ran off after the incident and were last seen heading southbound on Olinville Avenue, police said. There have been no arrests.
