BELMONT, The Bronx (PIX11) – Three men were shot during a child's birthday party at a Bronx park on Monday, according to witnesses.
The shooting happened at East 181st Street and Bathgate Avenue next to a playground in Belmont, according to authorities. A 21-year-old man was shot in the left leg, a 27-year-old man had gunshot wounds to the leg and was grazed in the neck and a 26-year-old man was shot in the left hand, police said.
"There was a party going on, a little girl's party... family BBQ party," resident Yorby Vilomar told PIX11 News. "A car was just driving by; next thing you know, they all just hopped out the car, went up to the track, and everything happened from there.
All three men took themselves to St. Barnabas Hospital. Police are still searching for a suspect.
