NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Wednesday's overnight storm wreaked havoc on New York City streets wind speed at one point reached up to 25 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.

The strong wind and rain even knocked down three trees in Central Park, officials said.

Parts of NJ still without power after storm

In one video captured by PIX11 News, at least four crew members are cleaning up the debris from one massive tree that took a tumble on the West Side of the park north of 67 Street. One man in a yellow vest is carrying massive portions of wood to be placed into the wood chipper.

Another worker uses a chainsaw to cut up the massive tree, the video shows.

It remains unclear how old the tree was or how tall it measured. PIX11 News reached out to the Central Park Conservancy, but they were not immediately available to comment.
