NEW DELHI: The

Delhi Police

have registered an

FIR

and launched an

investigation

against three individuals accused of using fake Aadhar cards to gain entry into the

Parliament

complex.
According to the FIR, one of the individuals, Kasim, was using the Aadhar Card of Monis, a resident of Amroha in Uttar Pradesh. Interestingly, Monis, who was also among the three workers apprehended, presented the same identity card.
The third arrested person, Soyab, had an identity card showing him as a resident of Hapur in Uttar Pradesh.

The FIR mentions that the trio presented these identity cards while attempting to enter the Parliament Complex using a casual entry pass.
The FIR states that the three individuals are believed to be employed by a contractor. The Aadhar cards of Monis and Kasam display the same number but with different photographs, suggesting that these cards may be forged.

The identity of the third worker, Soyab, is currently being verified and is also under investigation, as per the FIR filed by the Delhi Police.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 4, and the FIR has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 419 (Cheating by impersonation), 465 (Committing forgery), 468 (Using forged documents for the purpose of cheating), 471 (Fraudulently or dishonestly using as genuine any document or electronic record which he knows or has reason to believe to be forged), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy to commit an offence).
The Police have seized all three identity cards, and a comprehensive investigation is currently underway.
In a separate incident in December of the previous year, six individuals were arrested for illegally entering parliament and throwing smoke canisters in the Lok Sabha. On Thursday, Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena granted prosecution sanction against Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Dhanraj Shinde, Neelam Ranolia, Lalit Jha, and Mahesh Kumawat in connection with that case.
