“We very much appreciate all of your patronage over the past 12 years! The Americana Diner has been permanently closed. We wish all of our patrons the best!” the owners wrote on the diner’s website.

The diner closed its doors on March 3, according to the Downtown West Orange Alliance.

The diner was open 24 hours each day of the week, except on Christmas and Thanksgiving.

“Its classic design, delicious food, friendly staff, and standing as one of the few remaining 24-hour diners left in the state, will be missed in our Main Street community,” the Downtown West Orange Alliance posted on Facebook.
