NEW YORK (PIX11) – Two people in New York City are a little richer Tuesday after buying prize-winning Powerball tickets, according to lottery officials.

A ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Canarsie Liquor Outlet Inc., located at 8606 Flatlands Ave. in Brooklyn.

Another ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a 7-Eleven located at 2084 Victory Blvd. in Staten Island.

The current Powerball jackpot is at $178 million, with a $81.3 million cash option.
