2 people slashed inside Grand Central Terminal during fight: sources

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – Two people were slashed inside Grand Central Terminal on Christmas Eve, according to the NYPD.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. near the Nos. 4, 5 and 6 lines. A 26-year-old woman was slashed in her neck and a 42-year-old man was slashed in the wrist, police said.

The slashing happened after an argument between the suspect and the man on the subway platform, sources told PIX11 News.

The victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.

A person of interest was taken into custody, according to authorities. Charges are pending.
