NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- Two concertgoers are suing Madonna for starting her concert late, according to court documents.
Micheal Fellows and Jonathan Hadden filed the lawsuit on Wednesday after attending the alleged delayed Madonna concert on Dec. 13, 2023, court documents detail. The two said that they bought tickets for the North American leg of the "Celebration Tour" at the Barclays Center. The show was set to start at 8:30 p.m., however, Madonna didn't take the stage until 10:30 p.m., court documents allege.
The two claim that concertgoers left the venue after 1 a.m., and once the show was finished they had to navigate "limited public transportation, limited ride-sharing, and/or increased public and private transportation costs at that late hour," according to court documents.
Fellows and Hadden contend they were "damaged as a direct and proximate result" due to late start time and are seeking a trial by jury.
