2 men accused of stabbing 4 people during fight at Long Island lounge

VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Two men are accused of stabbing four people after a fight broke out at a Long Island lounge last month, police said Monday.

Shameq Sullins, 23, and Dayvonne Johnson, 22, were arrested Sunday and each charged with two counts of assault in connection to the Feb. 3 incident, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Authorities found two men and two men with stab wounds near Moods Lounge and Café at 269 West Merrick Rd. in Valley Stream at around 3:30 a.m., according to the NCPD. The victims got into a fight with several people in the lounge before the altercation spilled into the street, police said.

The men, ages 33 and 34, and the women, ages 26 and 31, were taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

Sullins was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. His arraignment was pending Monday.

Johnson was given a desk appearance ticket, officials said. He is due back in court on April 5.
