THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The mother of a victim shot inside a Bronx McDonald's on Saturday is urging young people to be careful on the streets.
Her caution comes after her 12-year-old son and a 13-year-old boy were injured in what police believe to be a targeted shooting.
The suspect was seen walking into the McDonald’s on White Plains Road near Allerton Avenue before shots were fired just before 10 p.m. They were last seen wearing a black hoodie with a pink logo on it and a medical mask, per police.
One of the boys was struck in the leg and back and the other in the thigh. Police say both are expected to recover.
No arrests have been made and the suspect remains at large.
