$1M Powerball ticket sold in Queens

ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) – Someone in Queens is $1 million richer after Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket matched five numbers and was sold at Avadh Convenience Store in Astoria. Another $1 million ticket was purchased in Texas.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night. The jackpot has grown to $600 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot is at $792 million, the sixth largest prize ever. No one has matched all six numbers in the last 27 drawings.
