$150,000 Birkin bag stolen from The Peninsula New York hotel: sources

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A $150,000 Birkin bag was stolen from The Peninsula New York on Feb. 14, according to sources.

The theft happened at 700 5th Ave. around 11:40 a.m., according to authorities. The bag was unattended in a bagging holding area, police said.

The suspect is described as a man around 5'11" tall and bald. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black sneakers, a black backpack and black sunglasses.

No injuries were reported.
