NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – A dozen New York City restaurants earned new Michelin stars at an award ceremony in the city Monday.
One restaurant, Korean eatery Jungsik New York, rose to the very top of the city’s dining scene by earning its third star. According to the Michelin Guide, it’s one of only five New York City restaurants to get a third star, which denotes exceptional cuisine worth journeying out for.
In addition to the new starred restaurants – which can get pricey – Michelin added 16 new Bib Gourmand eateries, restaurants that offer good quality for good value.
Here are all the New York City restaurants that earned Michelin stars and Bib Gourmand designations:
