BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A $10,000 reward is being offered for information on the fatal shooting of a crossing guard on a Brooklyn subway train back in January, according to the NYPD.
The victim, identified as 45-year-old Richard Henderson, was shot in the back and shoulder as the Manhattan-bound No. 3 train pulled inside the Franklin Avenue–Medgar Evers College station in Crown Heights around 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 14, according to the NYPD.
The shooting allegedly started as a fight over noise on the train, according to authorities.
Henderson worked as a crossing guard at Avenues World School in Chelsea for the last 10 years, his family told PIX11 News.
